Christmas Surprises

I was given several wonderful gifts this year that are for the kitchen.  I love all of them and wanted to share with you what I was so generously given.

My little sister gave me this fabulous cookbook.  I'm so excited to read it.
My sister-in-law bought me this covered dutch oven.  She gave it to me after Thanksgiving and I couldn't wait to use it.  So instead of wrapping it up and sticking under the tree, I opened it up and started using it.  I love it.

My hubby and kids bought me this Giada food processor from Target.  (Okay, so I really picked it out and put it in the cart, but that doesn't matter).  I know it's not the fanciest or most expensive, but I had a coupon, plus it was on sale, so I got a great deal.  And it's a lot better than the mini food processor that I've been using that I got for my wedding 9.5 years ago with a lid that's taped together in three places.  I'm excited to start processing in it. :)
Did you get anything fun for your kitchen this Christmas?

  1. That is my favorite cookbook! I have a huge list of favorites from there. Let me know what you try!

  2. I *love* your red covered dutch oven. I want one of those too. I did get a french rolling pin. Oh, and my sis gave us a crepe pan with a bunch of goodies to go with it.

  3. My mom bought me the Pioneer Woman's Cookbook. I love cookbooks, but find that I only actually cook out of about 4 of them on a consistent basis!
