Week 252 Menu

Hi friends!  My hubby and kids had the day off yesterday for Veteran's Day.  It sure was nice to have a little bit of a longer weekend.  And, like always, yesterday was a great day to thank and think of veterans.

Menu time...

Monday:  we had creamy chicken and wild rice soup (from my freezer stash), my 9 year old daughter made us yummy French bread

Tuesday: crockpot chicken stroganoff with whole wheat egg noodles

Wednesday:  chicken alfredo pizza

Thursday: beef and barley soup

Friday: easy night

Saturday:  chicken gyros

Sunday:  Swedish meatballs, steamed potatoes, one hour rolls

That's my plan...we'll see if I stick to it.  What are you making this week?

Just for fun, check out my menus from:

  1. Mon: Breakfast for Dinner
    Tues: Sausage Tortellini Soup
    Wed: Leftovers
    Thurs: Enchilada Bake (pre-made)
    Fri: Out
    Sat: Leftovers
Sun: Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup

Ryan is out of town for a Conference this week and next. N and I are joining him next week, and B will stay with friends, but until then we're taking it pretty easy. :)

  2. M - we had sloppy joes and oven baked potato wedges
T - pepperoncini beef sandwiches (OBB recipe) with chicken lime soup
    W - pizza
Th - green chile chicken stew and rolls
    F - breakfast burritos
    Sa - leftovers
Su - ooh, Kylie has a good idea with grilled cheese. Maybe we will do that!

  3. Everybody's menu sounds delicious! Guess I need to eat some lunch because I am hungry now :) Here's my menu for the week!

Mon: We had meatballs subs, homemade steak fries, and caesar salad (with the missionaries)
Tues: Cheesy chicken and rice bake, rolls, garden salad
Wed: Homemade chicken nuggets, green bean casserole, fruit
Thurs: Roasted veggie enchiladas, spanish rice
    Fri: Tortellini Soup
    Sat: Leftovers
Sun: Crockpot Italian Chicken Pasta, garden salad

  4. Also I have to thank you and Beth for that steak fries/ potato wedges recipe! My loves them and so did the Elders. They were a little giddy when I pulled out the fry sauce to go with them ;)

  5. Since I'm leaving town for several days, I had to plan out a menu for the rest of the family. So...
    T - cowboy burgers and zucchini/squash
W - skinny greek yogurt chicken and asparagus
    Th - crockpot lasagna soup
    F - pizza
S - kids' choice - maybe grilled cheese and tomato soup
S - pork chops, mashed potatoes and whatever veggie they want to eat
