Week 222 Menu

Happy Monday everyone...even though it's almost over.  It's only 7 pm.  :) 

Can you believe that it is Easter this week?  It's sneaking up on me really fast.  It probably seems fast to me because I am speaking in church this Sunday about the resurrection.  I'm a bit nervous and have procrastinated the actual writing of my talk.  I've thought about it a lot, but I haven't written anything down.  I'm using this talk mostly...I wish I could just read it. 

Anyway...back to menu planning.  It's...

Monday: baked potato soup, flaky buttermilk biscuits

Tuesday: waikiki meatballs, butternut squash, rice

Wednesday: spicy honey chicken salad

Thursday: crockpot ranch pork chops, mashed potatoes

Friday: honey lime tilapia, rice pilaf

Sunday: ham, potato casserole, bunny shaped rolls

  1. Julia made me your chicken tetrazzini while we were at her house over the weekend! Good stuff!!

    Here's my menu (which has no Easter-related anything, but nobody gets very excited about Easter foods around here, so we'll just stick with our tried-and-true favorites unless I get really ambitious):

    T: BLTs and fries
    W: chicken taco wraps (or something like that to use up my enchilada sauce in the fridge before it goes bad)
    Th: spinach tortellini pasta bake
    F: pizza
    Sa: breakfast burritos
    Su: sausage and penne pasta

  2. So it's already Wed. and I just made my menu but here is what we had and what we are having the rest of the week! Also, I'm having a crazy couple weeks here...either we are eating out of taking food to an event like every day :) But I have been getting to make lots of yummy desserts for different events which is fun because I don't make them for my family all the time :)

    Mon: Leftovers
    Tues: Pizza
    Wednesday: Honey-Lime Enchiladas
    Thursday: Eat out for my Mom's B-day
    Friday: Sweet pulled pork, funeral potatoes, salad, 7-layer bars (for the YW camp fundraiser)
    Saturday: Crock-pot Mexican Chicken and Rice
    Sunday: Pork roast with plum chile sauce, potatoes au gratin, rolls, honey carrots and angel food trifle! Yum! Happy Easter :)
