My kids love pepperoni pizza. And they love this pepperoni bread too! I make this pepperoni bread often when we need to eat dinner on the go, like when we're making an all-day drive to go visit Grandma and Grandpa, or when we are at a softball game.
This would be yummy dipped in marinara sauce or my recipe for homemade ranch dressing. My kids don't like to dip things in marina for some strange reason, so they enjoyed it dip-less. They are excited to have a few slices of this pepperoni bread in their lunch box. My six year old son loved helping me make this for dinner. He couldn't wait to eat it!
Pepperoni Bread
Ingredients
- prepared pizza dough (I like these two recipes)
- garlic bread seasoning (from Our Best Bites, a combo of parmesan cheese, garlic powder, basil, oregano, marjoram, salt, pepper)
- pepperoni (we love turkey)
- mozzarella cheese, shredded
Roll out pizza dough, like you're going to make cinnamon rolls. Sprinkle lightly with garlic bread seasoning. Cover dough with pepperoni. Top with shredded mozzarella. Roll up like you're making cinnamon rolls. You might need to split the loaf in two pieces to fit it on your baking sheet. (I use my pampered chef pizza stone.)
Bake at 400 for about 25 minutes or until bread is lightly browned. Slice and serve with marinara sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.
