Week 136 Menu


Happy Memorial Day!

Yesterday we had the opportunity to decorate graves of some family members.  It was a great experience and something I don't get to do very often.  (And it was something my kids haven't done before.)

As I type this I'm breathing in the heavenly smell of my mother-in-law's peach pie.  It's very yummy...

We get to have lots of family visiting us during the next few weeks.  Since it's summer and I'm not sure what we'll be doing each day, I'm just going to make a list of my favorite meals that I want to make for company and we'll pick from that.

Monday:  grilling of course :)

Tuesday:  easy night

Wednesday:  grilled spicy honey chicken w/salad and baked tortilla strips and homemade ranch dressing

Thursday:  teriyaki burgers


Saturday:  orange chicken

Sunday:  tacos with pico de gallo pilaf

  1. Whenever you have anything with green chiles on your menu, I get very nostalgic, jealous, and hungry.

    I am going to be practicing my grilled chicken this week. I tried on Friday and it was a bit charred. Hopefully this time I get the hang of it a bit better.
