Week 128 Menu

This weekend was one of my favorite weekends of the year.  It was General Conference for our church.  We get to watch four two-hour meetings (broadcasted on BYUtv or online) of uplifting talks from the leaders of our church.  I learned so much about how to be a better person, mother, wife, friend, and member of the LDS church.  I'm excited to listen and reread the talks, so I can hear the things that I couldn't hear over the kid noise.

And of course Conference weekend always involves some good food, since we get to stay at home instead of having our regular church meetings on Sunday.  I whipped up some yummy cinnamon rolls yesterday.
 
All right, here's my menu for this week:

Sunday:  (today -- making dinner as I type this) grilled rib-eye, grilled green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy

Monday:  dumplings/pot stickers w/fried rice

Tuesday:  chicken piccata

Wednesday:  honey lime enchiladas

Thursday:  Swedish meatballs, IKEA gravy, potatoes

Friday: chicken salad on 5 minute artisan bread pitas

Saturday:  TBD, my birthday girl's choice

Sunday:  green chili stew

Extra meals just in case:  Amazing Chili's Fajitas, 7up Marinated Grilled Chicken
