Week 107 Menu and Happy Halloween!

Our little town that we live in celebrated Halloweekend this weekend.  The kids had school parties on Thursday and Friday.  Then Friday afternoon we went trick-or-treating downtown and at the hospital.
Then we came home and made doughnuts.
Yesterday was Trunk-or-Treat at the church.  I made white chili to take to the trunk or treat chili dinner.  Then I made pumpkin cookies to give to the kids at church today since it was their Primary Program in Sacrament meeting.  Today I'm ready for Halloween to be over.  Luckily we get to stay home and relax tonight instead of going trick-or-treating.

I made mummy hot dogs for the kids for lunch today (idea from Picky Palate, except I grilled my hot dogs before wrapping them and I used crescent roll dough).

Now onto my menu for this week:

Monday: Crockpot Ranch Pork Chops w/potatoes

Tuesday: tacos

Wednesday: BBQ Meatballs w/some kind of potato

Thursday: Chicken Teriyaki Fried Rice

Friday: honey lime enchiladas

Saturday:  Potato and Leek Soup

Sunday: Busy Day Beef Tips on Rice or Roast and potatoes

That's what I'm making.  How 'bout you?  If you've planned your menu go ahead and post it in the comment section.  Thanks to everyone that leaves me a comment.  It makes my day a little better. :)

  1. Although we had so much fun this week, I am also ready for Halloween to be over with.

My tentative menu is as follows:

    Monday: leftover ham & potatoes

    Tuesday: Oriental chicken

    Wednesday: chicken pillows

Thursday: my birthday. I think my husband wants to take me out. I'm not cooking, though. That's for sure!

    Friday: breakfast

    Saturday: ham over rice

Sunday: maybe soup or something else equally as easy.

  2. Monday: Grilled Chicken Salad
    Tuesday: Sloppy Joes
    Wednesday: Spaghetti (w/squash)
    Thursday: Potato Soup
Friday: Chicken Alfredo Pizza & Breadsticks
    Saturday: Enchilladas
    Sunday: Leftovers

The doughnuts look fantastic. You should really post that.

  3. Yay! All our kids got to enjoy snacking on mummies this week! Also, I made your white chicken chili tonight! It was a big hit! I've been craving it since Saturday because I only got a tiny taste at the trunk or treat! Anyway, this is my menu for the week:
    Monday: White Chili

Tuesday: Turkey bagel sandwich with sweet potato fries

Wednesday: Linguini with garlic sauce and spinach

Thursday: Breakfast (veggie/egg scramble, biscuits and gravy)

    Friday: Leftovers

    Saturday: Grilled Cheese

Sunday: Spaghetti and bread sticks (using the bread sticks from your blog...that my family is addicted to!)
