I went to Smith's today to buy some ranch dressing to put on our salads for dinner tonight. The ranch dressing that I usually buy wasn't on sale. I decided instead of paying $2.99 for a bottle of ranch, that I'd spend $2.19 on a quart of buttermilk and make my own. It's cheap and makes a lot! And most importantly, it's delicious!
Ranch Dressing
recipe from my brother-in-law's mom, Becky Jones
1 quart mayonnaise (I use light)
1 quart buttermilk
2 tsp. onion salt
1 tsp. garlic salt
2 tsp. Accent salt
2 tsp. parsley flakes
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 tsp. salt
Mix well. Chill before serving.
Makes a lot! I usually half it.
