Caramel Popcorn


Caramel Popcorn

1 cube butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 c. karo syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. soda
2 air poppers worth of popcorn

Boil butter, brown sugar, karo syrup and salt for 5 minutes stirring constantly.  Remove from heat.  Add vanilla, mix.  Stir in soda.  Pour over popped popcorn and mix well.

Spread onto two cookie sheets and bake in a 250 degree oven for one hour (stirring every 15 minutes).
