Kosher Salt

It's official. Now I'm a real "gourmet cook" since yesterday I bought my first box of kosher salt. I've been wanting some for a while, but haven't remembered to buy any when I've gone grocery shopping.

I felt really professional yesterday when I made some salsa and sprinkled in a pinch of kosher salt. A small pleasure I guess...

  1. I love using kosher salt when I cook! I put it on vegetables when I roast them. I rub it on a roast before I sear it and toss it in the crock pot. It's great on homemade pretzels.

  2. I had to go buy a pinch bowl for my Kosher when I decided to go "pro". Its so much fun to just grab a dash when ya need it. Very fun :)
