Week 57 Menu

Happy Halloween Week! We'll be carving one of these . . .
for Family Home Evening tomorrow night.

I'm glad that pumpkin comes in this form too...
I made some of these pumpkin chocolate chip cookies last night. My husband asked "Why so much pumpkin lately?" The answer is because I love pumpkin and I haven't had enough of it. I'd still like to make pumpkin muffins, pumpkin bread, pumpkin pie, and maybe some more of those delicious pumpkin cheesecake bars.

Here's my menu for this week w/some repeats from last week. I wasn't very good at sticking to my menu last week.

Monday: broccoli cheese soup in bread bowls (maybe 3rd time is a charm)

Tuesday: turkey meatloaves, acorn squash, mashed potatoes

Wednesday: Mexican lasagna

Thursday: crockpot chicken stroganoff

Friday: hot dog mummies, baked potato chips (after a long day of class parties and downtown trick-or-treating)

Saturday: ward trunk-or-treat and chili cookoff (I'll probably make white chili)

Sunday: chicken salad on soft wrap bread

What's on your Halloween Week Menu? Thanks to everyone that's been posting your menus! I love reading them and getting new ideas! Have a fun Halloween-ey week!

  1. Yummy! I love all the pumpkin recipes.

This is a crazy week for me, so I haven't assigned specific meals for each day. I just bought groceries to make several different things, and I'll make it work around the chaos.

In no particular order, easy chicken strips & baked beans; chicken parmesan; chicken broccoli braid; fajitas; baked peach french toast; corn chowder; and probably leftovers sometime.

Enjoy all your Halloween festivities this week :)
